Fighting out of Los Angeles by way of D.C., this is Olivia O’Hara.
O’Hara’s storytelling work focuses on counterculture, sci-fi, and the hopeful, human side of a digital future. Her directing portfolio has received, among other awards, a Red Dot Award for Communication Design, two Gold American Advertising Awards, a CLIO Award, a Young Ones ADC Award, and a 39th College Television Award nomination, all distributed among short films, commercials, and music videos.
O’Hara has previously worked below the line on dozens of projects, including Gemini Man, The Orville S2 and S3, MacGyver S2, Baywatch, Killerman, and The Peanut Butter Falcon, and more from Paramount and Netflix.
As of 2022, she is writing her second feature screenplay, a high-intensity, tech-centric drama based on her experience researching Anonymous and imageboard culture. She also works with a small team to research solutions for Fuzzy Door Tech, a division of Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door Productions.
She recently hacked Keybase twice and is an alumnus of the Television Academy Foundation. In her free time, she gardens, hikes, and enjoys other activities that have nothing to do with staring at a screen.
